Lettuce – Lamb’s

Also known as mache, corn salad, or field salad.

This lettuce is comprised of small rosettes of pretty, delicate, mid-green leaves.

They have a velvety texture and a mild flavour.

Young leaves are the sweetest.

Lamb’s lettuce is high in beta carotene, which is thought to help fight heart disease and certain types of cancer.
