Cauliflower steak with Herb Butter

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Tray
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Frying pan

Ingredients

  • 10 grams Fresh Thyme leaves roughly chopped
  • 10 grams Mixed dried herbs
  • 5 grams Ground Cumin
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 large Cauliflower cut into 1.5 cm thick steak slices
  • 100 grams Butter room temperature
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mash that butter together with the thyme, dried herb, garlic and a couple of grinds of salt and pepper.
  • Preheat oven to 180 ℃, and line a large flat baking tray with baking paper.
  • Coat the cauliflower steaks in butter on both sides.
  • Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and fry the steaks for two minutes on each side, then place on the baking tray.
  • Roast in the oven for 15 minutes until the Cauliflower is cooked through.
