Asian Greens

These simple greens with an Asian flavour can be cooked up for any main that needs a veggie side.

Equipment

  • 1 Large frying pan or Wok

Ingredients

  • 1 head Broccoli florets
  • 200 grams Snowpeas or Green beans
  • 2 - 3 baby Bok choy
  • 15 ml Cold Pressed Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 5 grams Ginger crushed
  • 15 ml Sesame oil optional

Instructions

  • Cut the broccoli into small , and peel and thinly slice the stalk. Thinly slice the snowoeas and shred the bok choy.
  • Heat a good drizzle of olive oil in a large frying pan or wok over a high heat.
  • Add the broccoli and snowpeas to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring often.
  • Add the bok choyalong with the garlic, ginger and sesame oil (if using), and continue to cook for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring often, until the vegetables are cooked and tender.
  • Serve straight away with your main.
