Spicy Cabbage with Chorizo

  • 1 Large Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 med Onions - Brown chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 600 grams Chorizo Sausage cut into 5mm slices
  • 1 med Cabbage shredded and chopped
  • 5 grams Caraway seeds
  • 120 ml Chicken stock
  • 45 grams Butter
  • 20 ml Vinegar - White Wine
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
    Fry the onion and garlic for five minutes until the onion is softened.
  • Fly the chorizo for another five minutes until cooked through.
  • Add the cabbage in batches and fry for ten minutes until slightly softened.
    Stir the Caraway seeds, stock and vinegar and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Season to taste and serve warm.
