Fruit and Nut Rice

A tasty way to serve rice.

Equipment

  • Rice cooker, frypan

Ingredients

  • 175 grams Rice - Long grain White
  • 1 Lt Orange Juice
  • 15 ml Cold Pressed Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • 75 grams Raisins or Sultanas
  • 1 425g can Pineapple diced
  • 40 grams Almonds roughly chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the rice in the orange juice and water and keep warm.
  • Heat the oil in a frypan and toss in the raisins and pineapple, heat through for 2 - 3 minutes until hot and add the almonds.
  • toss through the rice and serve.
