BANANA FRUIT NUT SEED BARS

Banana Fruit Nut Seed Bars

These snack bars are great and healthy to have on hand. Will not last long with children around. Great favourite.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Flat sponge roll tray

Ingredients

  • 4 large Bananas Mashed
  • 250 grams Dates Chopped
  • 250 grams Dried Apricots Chopped
  • 250 grams Sultanas or Raisins
  • 250 grams Sunflower/Sesame/Pumpkin seeds
  • 125 grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 125 grams Nuts (Mixed or what ever you have) Chopped
  • 500 grams Rolled Oats Not Instant

Instructions

  • Mash the Bananas in mixing Bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl (except coconut)
  • Mix well
  • Line tray with baking paper and cover with the coconut.
  • Put the mixture into the tray and press down about 2 - 3 cm
  • Bake at 140 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • When cooled, cut into squares and keep in a sealed container in the fridge.
  • Enjoy.
